Thanks for this great plugin. It's a huge improvement for Wordpress.

I just wondered if it were possible to transform the "-Quotemarks into and , which is what I currently use. I know,

Hi Jeffrey,

ah ok, cool great to know.

I think based on this here:

http://aext.net/2009/10/wordpress-hack-anything-can-be-added-anywhere-in-the-post-content/

I will be able to add some necessary "notypo" thingie automatically into the posts of my greek and polish colleagues.

Cheers

Could you leave the precise code that generates your "read more..." statement in a comment so I could try to recreate the issue? - or email me at jk@kingdesk.com.

@David Hughes #166

after activating the WP-Typography plug-in I get the following warning

This is a problem with your server configuration, not the plugin. The PHP PCRE extension has been compiled without support for unicode characters (international characters) on your server. Compile the extension with unicode support (--enable-unicode-properties) or ask your provider to do it.

@Dirk #168

This is a great question, and I have added a FAQ to address it.

In short, wp-Typography does not have access to HTML that resides in your theme files. As such, filtering will only apply to HTML within the title or content of your post or page.

Hi ya,
very nice plugin! still exploring it.

but having wordpress sites with different language content the hyphenation for only one laguage is not always right.

So I thought great the "do not process"-list and I tried it.

but nothing worked, i.e. whatever I put into html element, classes or id no change always all content was hyphenated!

I even tried body as element. Maybe I'm stupid right now but shouldnt it turn off all hyphenation.

Do I misunderstand the function of that list or have you heard of similar problems. Do I have to switch on some other of the plugin features which I might missed to do?
Maybe something wrong in my theme files, in the html, in my css, cache problem, with the post loop ... ;-)

thx very much for your work!!

Im running with WordPress 2.8.6 and higher and your latest plugin Version 1.21.1
